Flower and Garden Festival is Coming!

This will be the longest EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival ever. The event will run from March 3 to July 5, 2021, starting a day earlier and ending over a full month later than this year’s event was intended to run.

I’m thinking that Remys Ratatouille Adventure will not debut during this time due to physical distancing and Covid regulations, but I could be wrong! They still have not announced an official opening date but it was originally suggested that it would be finished in springtime! What are your thoughts on this?

Walt Disney World has announced that some favorite character topiaries are coming back. Some of them noted have been Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Remy, Anna & Elsa, Lady & the Tramp, Figment, and more. I am also hoping for some more photo “wall” opportunities like the ones scattered around for Festival of The Arts! They did not disappoint and neither did the food!

For this years scavenger hunt they are including Spike the busy bee. They are calling it “Spikes Pollen Nation Exploration”. If you remember, they also had a special sippy cup of him last year! This should be fun!

I am also excited for the new merchandise even though it was minimal for the arts festival. I’m sure there is a lot of merch last year that didn’t sell but obviously it’s dated and not able to be sold this year! I am hoping for an awesome Dooney bag and lots of Ratatouille merchandise and topiaries!

I’m hoping they don’t also cancel the bands that they used to have in the America Pavilion due to Covid. During the arts festival it is housing the “Voices of Liberty” and the seating is minimal to say the least!

I am ready for a change of scenery and all the flowers! You can find a list of outdoor kitchens here!
