Wow I’m really doing this…

When I first came back onto social media after being very sick, I never thought that I would make it this far or make as many friends as I have. After having two kids and staying with them at home for years, you lose yourself. You forget what you are capable of. You forget to have fun outside of them. You find reasons to not take care of yourself or do the things you love to do. This is what happened to me. I found myself in a position where I was really lonely and stuck in a rut. I spoke with my husband about what I wanted to do with my life. Did I want to go back to school to pursue another degree? Should I get a part time job to get me out of the house for a few hours each week? Should I find a fun class to take to occupy my mind? All the possibilities swirled around my head for days. Finally, I went online to post a picture of my children and realized what was missing in my life was true friends. Also when you become a mom, you lose a lot of people in your life for whatever reason, so you feel alone! Not everyone is in the same stage of life as you so it can be hard to maintain relationships. Going onto Instagram, I thought maybe I could make a few friends to meet with at the Disney Parks and have fun. That idea has turned into what my page is today. Everyday now,I m excited to talk to everyone. I create content which gives me purpose and makes me smile. I’ve even met a few people in the parks which was my goal and has been amazing! Even when I don’t feel like it, I get up and put on makeup and get ready for the day. I now feel like I am surrounded by amazing people who are rooting for me and appreciate me as I am. I am so thankful for that. For those who left me along the way, I’m thankful not bitter! If you have read this then I want you to know that you have dug me out of a hole I couldn’t have done by myself. So thank you for that and I promise to continue to do what I do and keep going each day! There is so much more Magic to come!
